work work work...

Well, back to the real world. We have been working all the time. Not much to say about that. Last night I went out with my girl friends and had a few beers. It was well needed.

Tomorrow we have to work then afterwards we are headed to Chicago's. I can't wait. I have never been. We are planing on bring in the New Year at a hole in the wall bar in Chi-Town. I don't want to get to drunk because the next day is when the partying begins. We are going to the Winter Classic at Wrigley's Field. It will be the best Red Wings game I have ever been to. After we are driving to Michigan to visit my family. Friday I am going snowboarding with my beautiful niece, Cayla and hopefully meeting my new niece and nephew. Saturday is my dad's retirement party... then home sweet home. Hopefully I will get to chill my friends to. Every time I go to Michigan I never have enough time. I am always very busy running around.

Football Season...

This guy's hat pretty much sums up the debacle that is the Lions. They finished the season winless. Oh well, i suppose it can't get any worse.
I had to work today and it went fairly smooth, so that was good. Hopefully tonight will be quiet and I'll get a full nights sleep. I think Danielle was pretty bored today as I got quite a few texts and phone calls from her. It's nice to have somebody thinking about you though. As I type this it looks like my plans to watch football on the big TV are being foiled. I need to figure out how to block Lifetime, Bravo, and Oxygen.

Well, Josh is working and I am enjoying my last day off :) Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas...

a simple day

Not to much to say today... We went to lunch to a new place in town. It is similar to BD's. It was yummy. After lunch we went to the movies to see the new Tom Cruise movie, Valkyrie. Josh loved it... I didn't really care for it. Then we walked around the mall. Nothing to exciting... lol

Let it Snow... Let it snow... Let it snow

We got up early this morning and went snowboarding. I am sorry but I forgot the camera at home. Josh had a long day so I posted a picture of what he looks like after boarding. He had a few bad falls but so he is having to ice is knees tonight. But he is becoming a much better snowboarder. It wasn't to busy at the lodge today and it was even warm outside, but it was very wet. We stopped on the way home and got a pizza. So I am going to take a shower, wrap up in my new robe (thanks Mr and Mrs Keberlein) and spend the night relaxing on the couch and watching a movie. I am not sure if Josh is going to be able to walk tomorrow.

Merry Christmas...

Well, we are together today so that is all that matters. I think we are both a little home sick, but we will be fine. Josh is making me smile... like always. We just hope that our families realize how much we love them and miss them. We are both blessed with the most wonderful parents. We hope that everyone is having a great Christmas.

The video is Josh's family... it is adorable.

Our Apartment on Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve... Josh worked all day and I cleaned the apartment (something that was long over due). Josh had a horrible day at work. But his night will be better. We are going to play some Wii and open our presents :) I have been dying to open them. Even Fred is in the Christmas spirit. Actually, he is mad at me because I woke him up to clean his cage today but he got to run around for a while. Well, we miss our family and friends and hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. We will be thinking of you.

More Pics...

Well, tonight will be a good night for TV. The Wings play the Blues and Missouri and IL play in college basketball tonight. So since the games are on at the same time we must go to the bar with friends... lol Then afterwards I might have to have some friends over to break in my new Wii Fit. I was at best buy last night buying Josh's Christmas present and decided I needed a present for myself :)
Oh... the picture is from my parents visit last October. We went to some wineries (five or six) in Hermann, MO. My mom didn't drink much because they didn't have any Mudslides... lol

Monday Morning... Blah

So it is Monday already. I am blessed with Saturdays and Sundays off. Josh has Fridays and Saturdays off right now, but that will be changing in January. I am really excited because I only have to work today and tomorrow then I have the rest of the week off. Josh has to work all week, but will be working from home Christmas Day. This year we are staying in St Louis. I think we both are a little home sick. But I am just so very happy that he is back in St Louis. Six months ago we thought he would still be living in Newton at Christmas time. We are blessed to be together.

Josh had a long night. His drivers keep calling him with problems. Two drivers dropped their trailer last night. I told Josh that the odds of that has to be small so he should buy a lotto ticket today. lol He is not feeling well. His office is so cold so he keeps getting sick. He is going to have to start doubling up on the vitamins.

The picture is of Josh and his brother and dad before his sisters wedding the weekend after Thanksgiving. The wedding was beautiful and we had a great time in Hays, Kansas. The trip flew by to fast.

Josh's First Blog... and hopefully not only :)

Not the best pic... but we don't have to many to choose from. lol This was at a Tiger home game one weekend in July. We went to a couple games that weekend. I'm a huge Tigers fan and it just so happens the girl I love is one too!

We're also big Wings fans, but she gets upset when I spend too much on tickets. I hope I get an exception for the Winter Classic that is coming up on the 1st. It's an outdoor game at Wrigley versus the Blackhawks and will be awesome!

Day One...

Well, blogging seems to be the new thing. So I thought we would join the rest.

Things are good. Josh and I are staying in this small apartment for another six months. It is a good and bad thing. Good because we can save money and bad because it is really small. Josh is working for JB Hunt still. They have been really good to him and he is good at what he does. I think he works to hard so we are trying to find a hobby for the winter. I am still working at MiTek Ind. and finishing up my masters.

Christmas is right around the corner. Josh is working today and I am going shopping :)

Well, I will write more later and try to get Josh to blog some to.
